A.T.'s Updated Uniforms for High Heat 2002 and 2003 (This file works with both versions of the game) Thanks for taking the time to try out my updated uniforms. I realize that these are not perfect, so feel free to change them however you like, but please ask for permission if you want to repost them. **Use these files at your own risk!** How to install the uniforms: The process for installing uniforms is a little different this year than previous versions, so read this instructions carefully. Before doing anything, you need to download DangerZ's editor which will allow you to unpack and repack the graphics files. You can find his editor at http://baseballsimcentral.com/dloads/Detailed/763.shtml. Once you have the program, select File, Alb Unpacker. You will be asked for the file you want to open and where you want to unpack it to. The file is C:\Program Files\3DO\High Heat Major League Baseball 2002\Art2K2\Player\texture\plyrtex.alb. Make sure that this file is not read only. Go into the folder and right click on the file, and select Properties. You can unpack it to any folder you wish, such as C:\Windows\Desktop\uniforms, or wherever you decide. After downloading the uniform file, unzip it to any folder you wish on your hard drive. Go into the home folder and copy all of the files. Then go into the folder that you unpacked the uniforms to and paste the files, overwriting the originals. Do the same for the away files. If the team has an alternate that you wish to use, put the home and away files in first, then go into the alternate folder and copy and paste those files as well. Once you have all the files in the uniform folder, you are ready to repack the file. Open up the editor again, this time selecting File, Alb Repacker. The Alb File to Rebuild is the plyrtex.alb file that you originally unpacked. The Unpacked File Directory is wherever you unpacked everything to. Click rebuild and select the plyrtex.alb file again, and the file will begin to repack. The program will let you know when it is finished. You are now ready to play! ***There is also a program called Uniswap available that lets you use alternate uniforms without overwriting the default home and away uniforms. You can get it in the downloads section at www.baseballsimcentral.com. The process for getting the uniforms in is a little different, so be sure to check out the readme that comes with it. ***Special note about historic MLB and Minor League uniforms: For teams that no longer exist (Browns, Senators, etc) they are set up to replace the teams they became, so the Browns uniforms will replace the Orioles, and the Senators will replace the Twins (1901-1960) or Rangers (1961-1971). Minor League uniforms will replace their Major League affiliates. You can always change this so they will replace any team you wish by changing the numbers of the files to correspond to the team you want to replace.
